Patient comes to us with history of foreign body fall in eye , on examination 20/20 vision both eyes , on diffuse slit lamp exam no significant signs in eye , but did u evert the eye ? Did you stain the ocular surface to see the minor damages to cornea ?
Your basic eye residency training are your building blocks
No matter how many years of experience we add on
some steps remain rule of thumb
A few extra minutes will help you and your patient with further consequences
A hidden foreign body will keep on damaging the cornea , from an abrasion to ulcer !!
