Okay let’s actually talk about this weekend, because it’s a big one.

Saturn’s in a rough spot right now, weak in Aries, and when Saturn’s like this it gets impatient and reckless and convinced it has to force everything and fight every battle on its own. Sound familiar? That’s the version of you that’s been white-knuckling it lately.

But here’s the good news. Venus is sitting pretty in Libra, at her absolute best, and she’s about to hand Saturn the thing it’s missing, grace, patience, a little strategy. And these two actually work well together. So this weekend, you get a real choice in how this goes.

Force it, rush it, make the impulsive call, blow up the conversation, panic-spend, and Saturn hands you the hard lesson. Every time.

Today, let’s talk about what it could actually change for you.

The 20°02′ Leo Solar Eclipse was exact yesterday—but eclipses are not one-day events. Over the coming weeks and months, this one can coincide with a beginning, ending, change in direction, leadership shift or decision that alters what comes next.

And because it occurred close to the South Node, the “new beginning” may first look like something leaving.

A relationship changes form.
A role or plan loses its importance.
A version of you stops fitting.
Something you were holding onto for security becomes impossible to maintain.

Not every new beginning arrives as an opportunity.

Some arrive as the moment you can no longer keep performing a life you’ve already outgrown.

The Total Solar Eclipse at 20° Leo on August 12 sits with the South Node—and that changes the story.

Before it asks who you are becoming, it asks:

Who have you been trying to remain because that version of you was admired, chosen, rewarded or easier for everyone else to recognise?

Leo rules visibility, creativity, romance, leadership and the courage to take up space. So yes, this eclipse can open a door: recognition, a creative beginning, a bolder relationship choice, a chance to finally be seen.

But the South Node comes with a cost.

An identity that once protected you may now be limiting you.
A role that looks impressive may feel empty.
A relationship may no longer fit the person you’re becoming.
