🌍 World Physiotherapy Day 2026 – Celebration at Tarak Hospital, Dwarka 🌍

Today, 8th September, we proudly celebrated World Physiotherapy Day at Tarak Hospital, Dwarka, with this year’s theme: “Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders.”

We were delighted to see a great response to the Free Physiotherapy Camp, with many patients participating and taking advantage of physiotherapy consultation, assessment, and guidance for the prevention and management of musculoskeletal problems.

The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony in the presence of Dr. Manish Arora, along with our dedicated physiotherapy team — Dr. Nisha, Dr. Ekta, Dr. Sufyan, Dr *. Lashya, and Dr.* Sandeep

A heartfelt thank you to all my staff members for their sincere efforts, teamwork, and dedication in making this event a great success. 🙏

We also extend our sincere gratitude to all the hospital staff members who joined and supported us during the celebration. Your presence and encouragement made the occasion even more special.

I'm delighted to have successfully completed the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka.

The session was conducted by Dr. Kartik Nitin Pancholy, Ms. Arpita Mukherjee, and Dr. Priyanka, who delivered an excellent and highly informative training program.

The course enhanced my knowledge and practical skills in recognising life-threatening emergencies, performing high-quality CPR, and providing immediate basic life support to improve a patient's chances of survival until advanced medical care is available.

It was a truly valuable learning experience. Thank you to the trainers and the entire team at Max Super Speciality Hospital for such an insightful and well-organised session.

I recently received a certificate for attending a session on recent advances in Total Knee Replacement and the role of robotic-assisted knee replacement, conducted by Dr. Bhushan Nariani, Chairman of the Orthopaedic Unit at Max Hospital, Dwarka. The program provided valuable insights into the latest developments in knee replacement surgery and enhanced my understanding of the crucial role of physiotherapy in the rehabilitation and recovery process following Total Knee Replacement. We celebrated World Heart Day 2025 at zoravar hall manekshaw center delhi under the guidance of Dr. R.N. kalra sir , a leading cardiologist. The event witnessed the presence of several renowned cardiologists and esteemed doctors from across Delhi.

Patient Recovery Report – Bell’s Palsy (Left Side Facial Paralysis)

We are pleased to share the recovery progress of our patient, Mr. Vikas, who was diagnosed with left-sided Bell’s Palsy approximately two weeks ago. Bell’s Palsy is a neurological disorder characterized by sudden, temporary weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles, typically on one side of the face.

Initial Presentation:

Upon his first visit to our clinic, Mr. Vikas presented with the following symptoms:

Inability to close his left eye

Difficulty drinking water

Facial drooping and deviation towards the right side

Treatment and Progress:

Mr. Vikas underwent a focused physiotherapy program at our clinic, consisting of 15 sessions over the course of two weeks. The therapy included:

Facial muscle strengthening exercises

Neuromuscular re-education

stimulation techniques

Outcome:

Following consistent therapy, Mr. Vikas has made excellent progress:

He can now fully close his left eye

He is able to drink water without difficulty

Facial symmetry has significantly improved, with no visible deviation

We are delighted with Mr. Vikas's recovery and commend his commitment to the rehabilitation process. Early intervention and regular physiotherapy were crucial in achieving this positive outcome.
