World Asthma Day 2025 | Patient Education Programme
Hindu Rao Hospital | 6th May 2025

On the occasion of World Asthma Day, a comprehensive Patient Education Programme was held at Hindu Rao Hospital, organized by IAP North Delhi in collaboration with the Pediatric Respiratory Forum.

The sessions focused on:
• Asthma awareness
• Correct inhaler use
• Long-term management strategies

It was an insightful and interactive day for both patients and healthcare professionals!

📢 Anemia Mukt Bharat - IAP North Delhi Initiative at Blind Girls Hostel

IAP North Delhi successfully conducted the Anemia Mukt Bharat event today at the Blind Girls Hostel, Kanjhawla, with the mission of raising awareness about anemia and improving the health of adolescent girls.

Led by Dr. Payal Malhotra, the event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sandeep Rawal (President), Dr. Rajat Agrawal (Secretary), Dr. DD Shakya (Vice President), Dr. Manish Gupta, and Dr. Diwan.

🔹 The session began with an insightful awareness talk on anemia, educating the residents about its causes, consequences, and prevention.
🔹 This was followed by anemia screening of the hostel residents to assess their health status.
🔹 As a proactive step, IAP Delhi pledged to provide three months of hematinomics to support their nutritional needs and combat anemia.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Principal of the hostel, who expressed gratitude to the organizers and dignitaries for their meaningful contribution. She also assured full cooperation for future initiatives to enhance the well-being of the children.

This event stands as a testament to IAP North Delhi’s commitment to tackling anemia and ensuring a healthier future for vulnerable children.

Honored and humbled to take charge as General Secretary of IAP North Delhi for the year 2025. This marks the beginning of a new journey dedicated to the advancement of pediatric care, medical excellence, and community service.
