When assessing fertility, ultrasound plays a key role — and one of the most important things we evaluate is your Antral Follicle Count (AFC).

Antral follicles are tiny fluid-filled sacs inside your ovaries, each containing an immature egg.
These follicles appear like small bubble-like structures on ultrasound.

🌟 Why does AFC matter?

A higher number of antral follicles generally indicates a better ovarian reserve, while fewer follicles can suggest a reduced egg reserve — helping us plan your fertility journey accurately.
