Glad to share another successful MitraClip procedure at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

The patient had severe mitral regurgitation (mitral valve leakage) along with significant LV systolic dysfunction. With a single MitraClip, we achieved near-complete reduction of the mitral regurgitation. The patient is recovering well following the procedure.

MitraClip is a minimally invasive, catheter-based treatment option for selected patients with significant mitral regurgitation, particularly when conventional surgery may carry increased risk.

A pacemaker is a small electronic device that helps control your heart rate when your heartbeat is too slow or your heart’s electrical system is not working properly.

👨‍⚕️ A pacemaker may be recommended for people with:
• Very slow heartbeat (Bradycardia)
• Heart block
• Recurrent dizziness or fainting due to abnormal heart rhythm
• Certain heart rhythm or electrical conduction problems
