Honoured to share my medical perspective on NDTV Rajasthan’s live panel discussing one of the most pressing maternal health challenges anemia during pregnancy.

Nearly one in every two pregnant women in India is affected by anemia, making it a serious public health concern. If left untreated, it can increase the risk of complications for both mother and baby. The good news is that anemia is preventable and treatable through early screening, a balanced diet, iron and folic acid supplementation, and regular antenatal care.

Creating awareness and ensuring timely intervention can save lives and build healthier generations.
