I recently had the opportunity to deliver a keynote lecture on “New Frontiers in Esophageal Cancer” at Max Super Speciality Hospital Cancer Con.
What stood out most during the session was how rapidly the treatment landscape is shifting from traditional open surgeries to minimally invasive and precision-driven approaches, and from isolated decision-making to truly multidisciplinary care models.
Today, improving survival is only one part of the goal. Equally important is enhancing recovery, reducing complications, and improving quality of life for patients.
