A healthy glow doesn’t start in the mirror—it starts in the habits no one sees.

Hydration, nourishment, sleep, movement, and a calmer mind… that’s the real routine.

A C‑section is major abdominal surgery — not an “easy way out,” and that myth needs to end.

C‑section moms are recovering from layers of incisions while also caring for a newborn.

They need rest, pain relief, wound care, help with lifting/moving, and real emotional support.

Recovery often takes 6–8 weeks (or longer), and healing isn’t linear.

Birth is birth. C‑section mothers deserve the same respect, care, and compassion as any other delivery.

Save this, and share it to shut down the stigma.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s responsible.

You can’t pour into everyone else when you’re running on fumes.

Rest, recharge, set the boundary, and come back fuller.

You don’t have to stop eating non-vegetarian food during pregnancy.

In fact, well-cooked chicken, eggs, fish, and lean meats can be excellent sources of high-quality protein, iron, and vitamin B12—nutrients many Indian women tend to be low in during pregnancy.

The key is food safety: choose meat and eggs from hygienic sources, cook them thoroughly until steaming hot (no pink meat, no runny yolks), and avoid raw or undercooked dishes.

If you have specific medical conditions (like high cholesterol, gestational diabetes, or a history of food-borne infections), speak with your doctor for personalised advice.

Happiness has a lot of sources, but it’s hard to enjoy any of them without feeling well.

Protect your sleep, nourish your body, take the walk, book the checkup—because good health quietly supports everything else.

Craving chalk, mud, clay, or other non-food items during pregnancy?

This may be pica—a condition where you feel the urge to eat non-edible substances.

Pica can be linked to:

• Emotional or psychological stress

• Iron deficiency (low haemoglobin)

• Zinc deficiency

Please don’t ignore these cravings. Eating non-food items can be harmful for you and your baby, so it’s important to consult your doctor and get the right tests and treatment for any underlying deficiencies.
