This 10 year old child who was crawling on on all fours will finally be able to stand and walk on 2 legs (with a bipedal gait)…..
The child was suffering from a rare congenital condition called as Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC).In this condition,the child is born with multiple joint deformities and contractures and the child is unfortunately bed ridden or has severe restricted mobility of all 4 limbs. This child (PD) had come from Ghana 🇬🇭 , Africa.
Our Orthopaedic Team Spearheaded by Dr.Prof. BS Murthy, with Dr V A Senthil Kumar, Dr Tushar, Dr Naman, DR SAURABH YADAV and Dr. Rahul Choudhary took up the challenging task of CORRECTING THE FIXED 100 DEGREES FLEXION DEFORMITY OF LEFT KNEE and CLUB FOOT in the first stage.
Probably FOR THE FIRST TIME IN DELHI NCR, such a complex deformity of AMC was corrected using LATEST TECHNOLOGY called DEFT-FIX HEXAPOD System which ALLOWS COMPLEX MANOEUVRES by ADVANCED COMPUTER GUIDED TECHNOLOGY( only one of the 2 systems available all over the World) . The planning and results with the COMPLETE CORRECTION OF KNEE DEFORMITY from 100 degrees to 5 degrees are in the photos.
Thanks to the Anaesthesia Team of Dr Gagan Kapoor, Dr Shalini , Dr Pooja and all involved,the OT Technicians, OT Nurses, Nursing Staff and all support staff of Max SSH, 128, Noida.
She will be able finally able to stand and walk FOR FIRST TIME in her life.

Slipped Disc and Sciatica pain are common problems sometimes requiring surgery for curing it. Nowadays we perform UBE Endoscopic Discectomy, which is performed by minimally invasive technique. Gone are the days of 3 cm long incisions. Our Team performed Dorsolumbar Spine Fixation and Decompression Surgery by Computer Navigation for the FIRST TIME in our Hospital on 25th November 2025, with the recently acquired Medtroniks Stealth Station.This was done for a 54 year old Gentleman with cord compression and paraparesis and severe radicular pain and severe back pain. Patient could walk today with support in 48 hours post surgery.

100% precision in Pedicle screws placement in such a sensitive area, quick and fast surgery, Avoidance of excessive radiation from C-Arm ( 1/20th of the radiation compared to conventional techniques) to Surgeon and Support staff and Patient is the biggest advantage. This high end Technology is now available with us in Spine Surgery.

Me and my team performed a major spine surgery on this 68 year old African Lady ( Speaks French)from Cameroon 🇨🇲 . Fortunately her daughter speaks English and French, which made it easy to communicate. The lady was suffering from severe low back pain and leg pains due to OVCF- fracture L5 and severe cord compression( as seen in MRI) - she was unable to sit,stand or walk due to severe pain. L4 to S1 Pedicle Screw fixation and decompression was done as evident in photographs, and she is sitting and smiling with our team on very next day of Surgery.
