Your genes may influence your health, but they don’t always determine your future.

Autoimmune conditions often develop due to a combination of genetics, lifestyle, and environmental factors. Everyday habits like chronic stress, poor sleep, gut imbalance, smoking, nutritional deficiencies, and exposure to pollutants may contribute to immune dysfunction in susceptible individuals.

Understanding these potential triggers is the first step toward making informed lifestyle choices that support overall health. While not every trigger affects everyone the same way, awareness can help you have more meaningful conversations with your healthcare provider.

Swipe through to learn the difference between GI vs GL and discover why Glycemic Load is often the better guide for everyday eating.
