A better profile isn’t always about the nose.

This patient previously underwent rhinoplasty with us to refine and improve the shape of her nose.

She later returned for chin enhancement with dermal filler to improve chin projection and overall facial balance.

Can non-surgical treatments really correct loose skin?

It depends on how much skin laxity is present.

Non-surgical skin-tightening treatments may help improve mild skin laxity and skin quality in selected patients. But when there is a significant amount of excess, loose or hanging skin, tightening the skin alone may not provide the correction a patient is looking for.

That’s where a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) can be considered.

A tummy tuck directly removes excess abdominal skin and can also address abdominal wall laxity when appropriate.

For this patient, the amount of loose skin meant that a tummy tuck was the appropriate surgical approach to address the excess skin and improve abdominal contour.

Sometimes, you don’t need more tightening — you need the excess skin removed.
