I’m not enough for him.

That scene from S*x and the City where Charlotte tells Harry that she may never be able to have children hit me in a way very few scenes have.

Not because of the diagnosis.

But because of the guilt.

The guilt of feeling like your body has let down the person you love the most.

The guilt of wondering if he deserves someone who can give him what you can’t.

Infertility has a cruel way of making women question their worth. It convinces us that we’re somehow “less than” because our journey looks different.

I remember carrying that guilt too. Not because my husband ever made me feel that way, but because infertility makes you tell yourself stories that no one else is saying.

There is a scene in **Good Newwz** where Kareena Kapoor’s character finally says out loud what so many women silently carry after years of infertility and IVF.

Everyone thinks the hardest part is getting pregnant.

Sometimes, it isn’t.

Sometimes the hardest part is carrying the fear, the trauma and the emotional scars that infertility leaves behind. Pregnancy does not magically erase years of loss, failed treatments, injections or heartbreak.

That scene resonated with me because I lived it.

After my own 10 year infertility journey, I became a mother through surrogacy. I thought the judgement would finally end. Instead, it changed. I went from being asked, *”When are you having a baby?”* to hearing whispers about *how* I became a mother. Somehow, society always finds a way to judge a woman.

That is exactly why I created **About Time**.
