A famous story of Akshaya Tritiya is about Lord Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama. Sudama was very poor and went to Krishna to ask for help. He felt shy because he had nothing valuable to give, so he brought a small gift of poha (flattened rice).
Krishna happily accepted the gift and treated Sudama with great love and respect. Sudama was so touched that he forgot to ask for help and returned home.
When he reached his house, he was surprised to see that his small, poor home had turned into a beautiful and wealthy place. In this way, Krishna blessed his friend without him even asking.
