Had an opportunity to give a talk on PeTEP, a procedure for ventral hernia at the workshop organised at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. The talk was appreciated by everyone and most importantly by Dr Miguel. It was cherry on the cake to give this talk when he was chairing the session as the talk was based on his work.

Etep Workshop

Glad to share that we organised a live OT observership for ETep procedures at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi under the aegis of AWRSC and Delhi State chapter of ASI.

It was attended by 12 surgeons from different cities.

We demonstrated total 5 procedures. Operated by Dr Tarun Mittal, Dr Ashish Dey and Dr Anmol Ahuja

1. TEP inguinal
2. Etep inguinal x 2
3. Etep RS for epigastric hernia
4. PeTep for Supraumbilical hernia

There was good exchange of academic ideas and surgical tricks.

From engaging discussions with seniors like Dr. Roy Patankar to catching up with friends in the surgical world — it was time well spent growing together in hernia, colorectal, laparoscopic & robotic surgery.

Glad to share that I have been elected as Editorial Secretary of Delhi State Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India, The largest body of Surgeons in India.

Looking forward to work towards the vision of National and State leadership and making new collaborations on the academic front.
