This is what actually happens during cataract surgery
Most people know cataract surgery improves vision.
But very few know what actually happens during the procedure.
The surgery starts with dilating the pupil using special eye drops. After that, the eye is cleaned carefully and covered with a sterile protective drape to maintain complete safety during the operation.
Small micro-openings are created for surgical instruments. The cloudy cataract lens is then carefully broken down and removed using advanced techniques.
Once the cataract is removed, an artificial intraocular lens is implanted to restore clear vision.
The entire process is highly precise, minimally invasive, and designed for faster recovery.
Modern cataract surgery today is safer and more advanced than most people imagine.
