Har Ghar Tiranga – Patriotic Programme at SDDMASC

As part of the **Har Ghar Tiranga** campaign, a patriotic programme was successfully conducted today at **Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya (SDDMASC), Dabri, New Delhi**.

The programme featured **Group Singing of the National Song**, followed by an inspiring **Public Address by the Medical Superintendent**. The event was attended with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit by the doctors, nursing officers, staff and other members of the hospital.

The programme reflected the spirit of **national pride, unity and respect for our Tiranga**.

🧘‍♀️🌿 International Day of Yoga Celebrated at SDDMASC 🌿🧘‍♂️

On 20th June 2026, Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya (SDDMASC), Dabri celebrated the International Day of Yoga with great enthusiasm and active participation from hospital staff.

The yoga session was conducted under the guidance and presence of our respected Medical Superintendent Ma'am, who encouraged all participants to embrace yoga as a way of life for achieving physical fitness, mental well-being, and inner harmony.

Doctors, nursing officers, administrative staff, and other healthcare workers joined together to perform various yoga asanas and breathing exercises, reinforcing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and stress management in the healthcare profession.

The event highlighted the message that "Yoga is a powerful tool for holistic health, promoting balance between mind, body, and spirit."

On 16 June, an outreach and awareness-building activity on Violence Against Women & Girls (VAWG) was conducted at Sakhi One Stop Centre, Palam, South West Delhi, and at Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya hospital.

The initiative was technically supported by Jagori-a women’s rights training and documentation centre and the Nodal Agency, under the guidance of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (Sambal Division), in partnership with UN Women India Country Office. This was part of the Initiative on Strengthening Selected One Stop Centres.

The Medical Superintendent, staff, and the Dada Dev hospital team actively joined the outreach program. Their guidance was invaluable in raising awareness among women patients, visitors, and accompanying family members at the hospital.

IEC materials were distributed, including women’s helpline numbers, information on OSC services, and a QR code linking to an information booklet on violence support services. A short nukkad natak was also performed that drew everyone's attention. Women in the hospital waiting area showed strong interest, engaging with the awareness team to seek information and support.

The activity successfully built public awareness and sensitivity against gender-based violence (GBV) through direct public engagement.

Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya (SDDMASC), Dabri proudly celebrated the completion of 10 years of Pradhan Mantri Suraksh*t Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) in the Gynae OPD.

The event was graced by our respected Medical Superintendent Ma'am, along with dedicated doctors, nursing officers, and healthcare staff of SDDMASC. The celebration recognized a decade of commitment towards ensuring quality antenatal care, early detection of high-risk pregnancies, and safe motherhood for every pregnant woman.

Over the past ten years, PMSMA has played a pivotal role in strengthening maternal healthcare services and improving pregnancy outcomes through comprehensive antenatal check-ups and timely interventions.

🩸 Blood Donation Camp Successfully Organized 🩸

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized on 14/05/2026 by the Incharge, Pathology under the supervision of the Medical Superintendent (MS) and DMS Madam, SDDMASC, in collaboration with DDUH Blood Bank.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from staff members, attendants, volunteers and well-wishers who came forward to support this noble cause.

Every unit of blood donated is a precious gift that can help save multiple lives. The enthusiastic participation and spirit of social responsibility shown by all donors made the camp a grand success.

Shri Dada Dev Matri Avum Shishu Chikitsalaya (SDDMASC Hospital), Dabri, New Delhi successfully organized a comprehensive Fire Safety Awareness Programme for its doctors, nursing staff, and support personnel on 5th May 2026.

The event began with the *Fire Safety Pledge* administered by Respected MS Mam.

All participants took a solemn oath to uphold fire safety standards, remain vigilant, and prioritize the safety of patients, especially mothers and newborns, in any emergency.

The pledge emphasized prevention, preparedness, and prompt response to fire incidents.

This was followed by a practical demonstration of fire safety measures. The hospital’s PWD team showcased the correct use of fire extinguishers (PASS technique: Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep), operation of fire alarms, evacuation procedures through designated routes, and handling of emergency exits.

Staff actively participated , learning how to swiftly shift vulnerable patients from high-risk areas while maintaining calm and order.

Concluding the programme, the Respected Medical Superintendent Mam delivered an inspiring message. “Safety is not an option but a core responsibility in healthcare.” Hospital’s commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance approach towards fire hazards and urged every staff member to treat fire safety as a daily practice rather than a one-time event.

✅ Age Limit : 18 to 60 years
✅ Body Weight : Minimum 45 kg
✅ Vital Signs : Within normal range
✅ Body Temperature : Normal

❌ Not Eligible If: • On medication for diabetes, hypertension, cancer, hypothyroidism, etc.
• Undergone any major surgery within the last 1 year
• Received Rabies or Hepatitis B vaccination within the last 1 year
• Consumed alcohol on the previous night
• Suffering from chronic heart, lung, kidney diseases, etc.
