Self-awareness (or self-monitoring) is an executive function, or, following Barkley's model, an aspect of behavioural inhibition and executive self-regulation. Barkley often refers to it as self-directed attention—the ability to observe oneself objectively.

We are officially open! A very big "thank you" to everyone who came and celebrated the official opening of our first "Ache Padosi" clinic in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, on the 18th of April 2026. Dr Pradeep Makkar, Founder of City Superspeciality Hospital Kangra, and his dear wife, Prof Monika Makkar, kindly graced our event as Guests of Honour.

At Drs Wasker & Lai, we are guided by "gold-standard practices". You can be sure that each and every one of our clients is served with care, competence and integrity.
