Since 2021, my professional journey in nephrology has been a journey of learning, perseverance, humility, and hope. What started with very modest facilities has slowly grown into a service where we now strive to provide comprehensive kidney care â from dialysis to transplant support.
Leaving the comfort and opportunities of Delhi and choosing to return to Dibrugarh was a deeply personal decision. Looking back today, it has also been one of the most meaningful decisions of my life. The trust, warmth, and faith of the people here have given this journey its true purpose.
Over the past few years, we have fought many battles against kidney disease.
Some battles we lost, and for those patients and families I carry a quiet sense of grief and apology.
Some battles we won, and those moments remind us why this fight must continue.
Medicine has a way of teaching humility every single day. Every patient, every family, and every story leaves behind a lesson â and a responsibility to do better.
There is still a long road ahead. My sincere hope is to continue strengthening kidney care in this region and bring more advanced treatment and hope closer to the people of Upper Assam.
On the occasion of World Kidney Day â 12th March 2026, I warmly invite all Kidney Warriors and their family members to join us at Apeksha Hospital as we come together to share strength, raise awareness, and celebrate the courage of those living with kidney disease.
Because behind every dialysis session, every transplant, and every recovery, there is a story of extraordinary courage.
Let us stand together for kidney health and for every life still fighting this battle.
