Submucosal fibroids, what are they? 🩺
Submucosal fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop just beneath the inner lining of the uterus. They can sometimes affect menstrual bleeding and fertility. Even fibroids as small as 1cm can cause extremely heavy bleeding
They can be treated with hysteroscopic myomectomy, a minimally invasive procedure that removes the fibroid through the uterus, without an external incision.
For the right diagnosis, consult your gynecologist!
