7th July 1976 our founder Dr Dilip M.Thakur started Lakshmi Hospital in Dombivli,today we complete 50 glorious years of service to the Humanity!
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Thakur earned immense respect not only for his surgical expertise but also for his unwavering commitment to humanity. He firmly believed that financial hardship should never deprive a patient of medical care. Countless patients benefited from his charitable work, concessional treatment and selfless service. For many families, he was not merely a surgeon but a trusted physician, guide and compassionate healer.
As Lakshmi Hospital completes fifty years, the institution proudly carries forward the legacy established by its founder. Today, the hospital is led by Dr. Manasi Thakur Bhavsar, M.S. (General Surgery), FIAGES, an accomplished General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, who continues to uphold the values of ethical, patient-centred care while embracing modern surgical advancements. Alongside her is Dr. Preetish S. Bhavsar, a Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon, whose expertise has expanded the hospital’s scope by offering advanced reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services.
The Golden Jubilee is not merely a celebration of fifty years of a hospital building—it is a celebration of fifty years of healing, service, sacrifice and trust. It honours the vision of Dr. Dilip M.
