The ball pool is one of the most loved activities in our center—and for good reason.

It offers children a fun opportunity to move, explore, interact with friends, and enjoy rich sensory experiences. While they’re busy laughing and playing, they’re also developing body awareness, coordination, confidence, and social skills.

Sometimes the best learning doesn’t look like learning at all. ❤️

Not all climbing is “naughty” behavior.

For many children, especially those with sensory processing differences, climbing can be a way to seek vestibular and proprioceptive input. It helps them understand where their body is in space and provides the movement their nervous system is craving.

Instead of simply stopping the behavior, it can be helpful to understand the reason behind it and provide safe alternatives.

At Proactive Child Development Center, we help families understand sensory needs and develop practical strategies that support a child’s development.
