A 15-year-old boy from Mathura was brought to Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, in a critical condition after suffering 30–40 seizures every day. His condition rapidly worsened, requiring PICU admission, ventilator support, and advanced neurological care.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Vijay Sharma, Senior Paediatric Neurologist, the child was diagnosed with Autoimmune Encephalitis (Behçet's Autoimmune Encephalitis)—a rare and potentially life-threatening neurological disorder.

His successful recovery was made possible through a multidisciplinary team approach. Along with Dr. Vijay Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Singh Kadian (Senior Consultant & Head – Paediatric ICU) and Dr. M.
