🧠 Can Stress Cause Cancer? Let's Separate Myth from Fact.

Stress itself does not directly cause cancer. However, long-term stress can affect your overall health by disrupting sleep, lowering immunity, and leading to unhealthy habits like poor diet, smoking, or reduced physical activity—all of which may increase the risk of several health conditions.

The key is not to fear stress, but to manage it effectively.

✅ Prioritize quality sleep
✅ Stay physically active
✅ Eat a balanced diet
✅ Practice relaxation techniques
✅ Seek support when you need it

Small lifestyle changes can make a big difference to your overall well-being.

💚 Stay informed. Stay empowered.

It was a pleasure to moderate the session on recent advances in Head & Neck Cancers at the Mid Year Oncology Review 2026 in Chandigarh.

The discussion focused on some of the most practice-changing data from ASCO 2026, including the evolving role of immunotherapy in early-stage disease, patient selection, and how emerging evidence may influence our daily clinical practice. The insightful perspectives from the panel made it an engaging and thought-provoking session.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chitresh Aggarwal and Dr. Rajan Sahu for the kind invitation and the opportunity to be part of this excellent academic meeting. It was a privilege to interact with esteemed colleagues and contribute to the exchange of ideas that ultimately help improve patient care.

Looking forward to many more such enriching academic discussions.

Your PET-CT scan is clear—congratulations!

A clear PET-CT scan is an important milestone and a moment to celebrate. It often means there is no evidence of active disease on the scan. However, it is also the beginning of a new phase focused on recovery and long-term health.

Here's what you should do next:
✅ Keep all scheduled follow-up appointments.
✅ Take your medications as prescribed.
✅ Maintain a healthy diet and stay physically active.
✅ Inform your doctor if you notice any new or unusual symptoms.
✅ Continue living with confidence and hope.

Remember, regular follow-up helps detect any concerns early and supports your overall well-being.

A clear PET-CT scan after chemotherapy is wonderful news—and an important milestone worth celebrating.

While a normal scan is encouraging, your journey doesn't end here. Regular follow-up visits help your doctor monitor your recovery, address any concerns early, and support your long-term health.

✨ Most importantly:
✔ Keep your scheduled follow-up appointments.
✔ Don't ignore any new or unusual symptoms.
✔ Continue living a healthy lifestyle.
✔ Stay hopeful and focus on your recovery.

A clear scan is a step forward—not a reason to stop caring for your health.

💚 Celebrate your progress. Stay positive. Stay vigilant.

The answer isn't always simple. Every cancer journey is unique.

For many people, cancer never returns. For others, it may come back after months or years. That's why regular follow-ups and staying aware of your body are important.

If you notice any unusual symptoms or changes, don't ignore them. Reach out to your doctor early. Prompt attention can make a difference.

Most importantly, don't live in fear and don't lose hope. Focus on recovery, healthy habits, and enjoying life one day at a time.

🌿 Stay positive.
👨‍⚕️ Stay connected with your doctor.
💪 Stay strong.

Doctor, is cancer curable?"

This is one of the most common questions patients ask.

The answer depends largely on the stage at which cancer is diagnosed.

✅ Stage 1 & Stage 2 cancers often have a high chance of cure with appropriate treatment.

✅ Many Stage 3 cancers can still be treated with the goal of cure.

✅ In Stage 4 cancer, while cure may be less common, modern treatments can often control the disease, improve quality of life, and help patients live longer.

The most important message?

Early diagnosis can make a significant difference.

Don't ignore persistent symptoms. Seek medical advice early.

Behind many cancer survivors is a blood donor.

For patients undergoing chemotherapy, cancer surgery, or treatment for blood cancers, blood and platelet transfusions can be a vital part of their journey. A single blood donation can make a meaningful difference when it is needed most.

Today, we thank every blood donor whose generosity helps save lives and bring hope to patients and their families.

❤️ Donate Blood. Save Lives. Support Cancer Care.

❌ MYTH: Microwave food causes cancer.

This is one of the most common health misconceptions.

Microwave ovens use non-ionizing radiation, which does not damage DNA or cause cancer. In fact, microwave cooking is considered safe when used correctly and with microwave-safe containers.

What matters more for your health?

✔ A balanced diet
✔ Regular physical activity
✔ Avoiding to***co
✔ Maintaining a healthy lifestyle

The microwave isn't the problem. Your overall lifestyle and food choices have a much bigger impact on your long-term health.
