Ahead of International Yoga Day I conducted a yoga session for the residents of Mathura Nagar, Nallasopara in collaboration with the Shamrao Vithal Cooperative Bank Ltd.

I was surprised to see more senior citizens turning up enthusiastically for the session on a Sunday morning compared to youngsters 😛

I would like to thank , other staff members of SVC, and committee members of Mathura Nagar who took the initiative of organizing this session.

As much as I crib about the long train commute to my workplace I think that's the only 'me time' I get in the hustle and bustle of routine.

Right from listening to songs, watching movies, penning down thoughts, filling the appraisal forms, I have done it all in the train while also observing people.

The best of all is reading books which I have been doing since my college days. While reading gives me immense joy and pleasure it also reduces the sadness of spending over 4 hours in commute😅

In the crowded virar local I stand with a book in my hand and all the curiosity in my mind. This habit was subtly inculcated by Ajay Sir during my school days and emphasized on the importance of choosing the right books to read.

Sharing the list of books that I read in the last year:

- पाचगाव ची कहाणी (सामाजिक संशोधन)- Milind Bokil
- भूरा (Autobiography of Sharad Bawiskar)
- अवघा देहचि वृक्ष जाहला - Veena Gawankar (वृक्ष संवर्धनाची चळवळ जगभर चालवणारे रिचर्ड बेकर ह्यांची कथा)
- Gandhi - Autobiography
- 1984 - Dystopian Novel and Cautionary tale by George Orwell
- Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind - Yual Noah Harari
- माझा साक्षात्कारी हृदयरोग - Dr. Abhay Bang
- Karyarath कार्यरत - Dr. Anil Avchat (Stories of great souls who served the society relentlessly)

As much as I crib about the long train commute to my workplace I think that's the only 'me time' I get in the hustle and bustle of routine.

Right from listening to songs, watching movies, penning down thoughts, filling the appraisal forms, I have done it all in the train while also observing people.

The best of all is reading books which I have been doing since my college days. While reading gives me immense joy and pleasure it also reduces the sadness of spending over 4 hours in commute.
