A meeting of the Sikkim State Allied and Healthcare Council (SSAHC) was held on 24th March 2026 at the Council Office, Gangtok, under the Chairpersonship of Mr. Ramesh Dahal, Chairperson, SSAHC. The meeting was attended by Secretary cm Registrar, Presidents of Autonomous Boards and newly nominated members of SSAHC.
Key discussions focused on the status of council and board members, implementation of the curriculum under the NCAHP Act, 2021, the process of Professional and Institutional registration. The Council also deliberated on the inspection and monitoring of institutions offering Allied and Healthcare courses in Sikkim to ensure quality standards.
The Chairperson emphasized coordinated efforts to strengthen the Allied and Healthcare sector in the state. The meeting concluded with a commitment to timely and effective implementation of the decisions taken.
