Katrina Kaif’s postpartum pictures have led to a lot of unnecessary comments about her weight.
But as a clinical dietitian, I see it differently.
Postpartum is a recovery phase, not a race to get your pre-pregnancy body back.
Hormonal changes, sleep disruption, breastfeeding, increased nutritional needs and healing can all affect the body after pregnancy.
Crash diets and excessive workouts just to “snap back” aren’t the answer.
And someone looking different postpartum doesn’t mean they are unhealthy or out of shape.
Give the body time to heal. Weight loss can come later.
Fitness isn’t just about looking slim. It’s about being strong, nourished and healthy.
