Some moments in clinical practice go far beyond prescriptions and follow-ups.
Today, a cute little girl walked into my clinic, looked at me with bright, confident eyes, and said, “Doctor, I also want to become a doctor like you.”
In that moment, I didn’t just see a patient—I saw a dream taking shape.
I wrote her a small note of encouragement, assuring her, “Of course, you will become a doctor. I would love to see you as a doctor when you grow up.” I stamped it and handed it to her, but what I truly wanted to give her was belief.
The joy on her face was priceless. Even her parents were deeply touched—they said they would preserve that note forever.
As doctors, we often focus on healing bodies, but sometimes, the most meaningful impact we create is by nurturing hope, confidence, and aspirations in young minds.
Moments like these remind me why I chose this profession.✨
