CAPD (Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis) is a treatment for people whose kidneys are not working well. A soft tube is placed in the stomach, and special fluid is put in and taken out to clean the blood and remove extra water from the body. It can be done at home and helps people live a more normal life.
