ЁЯе╡ When rise, your body has to work harder to stay cool. Too much heat can lead to heat exhaustion or even life-threatening heatstroke, especially for older adults, young children, pregnant women and people with heart, lung or kidney conditions.
*Beat the heat with these simple tips:*
тЬЕ water regularly (donтАЩt wait until youтАЩre thirsty!)
ЁЯзв Wear light, loose-fitting clothes and a hat.
ЁЯМ│ Stay in the shade or indoors during the hottest hours of the day.
ЁЯЪ┐ Cool down with a cool shower or a damp towel.
ЁЯПа Keep your home cool by closing curtains during the day and opening windows at night.
ЁЯС╢ Never leave children or pets in parked cars тАУ not even for a minute!
тЭдя╕П Check on older relatives, neighbours and anyone living alone.
тЪая╕П dizzy, confused, nauseous or extremely hot? These could be signs of heat illness. Move to a cool place, drink water and seek medical help if symptoms are severe.
