What do your teammates do right after a sports injury?
Oil massage. Hot water. “Just keep playing.”
All three are WRONG — and they can end your career.

Right after an injury, your body is already dealing with damaged blood vessels and internal swelling.

But here’s what most people do:
❌ Oil massage → increases tissue damage
❌ Hot water → increases swelling
❌ Playing through pain → small tear becomes a major injury

One wrong move today can cost you your entire season — or worse, your career.

What should you do instead? Follow the R.I.C.E method (first 48 hours):

✔ R — Rest: Stop playing immediately
✔ I — Ice: Apply ice pack/cold water for 20 minutes
✔ C — Compression: Use a bandage to control swelling
✔ E — Elevation: Keep the injured limb above heart level

After 48 hours, if pain or swelling is still there — don’t ignore it.

At Amrutha Hospitals, Guntur, our emergency and orthopedic teams are ready to help you recover safely and get back stronger.

Share this with your team. Send it to your coach.
Every player should know these 4 steps.

Your father slipped in the bathroom.
Your first instinct? “Let’s give a painkiller… we’ll go to the hospital tomorrow.”
That mistake can cost his mobility.

In older adults, even a small fall can be serious — especially in bathrooms, near stairs, or getting off the bed.

After a fall, watch for these signs:
• Severe hip pain
• Unable to put weight on the leg
• Difficulty walking
• One leg looking shorter or turned outward

These could be signs of a hip fracture.

But what do many families do?
❌ Give painkillers
❌ Try oil massage
❌ Delay hospital visit till morning

This delay can worsen the condition —
Pain increases, movement becomes harder, and in some cases, the patient may become bed-bound.

What should you do?
âś” Do NOT force them to stand or walk
âś” Do NOT massage the hip
âś” Keep the patient in a comfortable position
âś” Take them to an emergency hospital immediately

At Amrutha Hospitals, Guntur, early diagnosis and timely care can prevent serious complications and help patients recover better.

If an elderly person can’t walk after a fall, don’t assume it’s a simple sprain.

Share this with your family groups — especially if you have parents or grandparents at home. One share can protect them.

The most important concept in life? The “Golden Hour.”
Miss it — and you may never get a second chance.

After an accident or trauma, the first 60 minutes are critical.

If proper treatment is given within this time, the chances of survival are much higher.
Delay it — and complications can become permanent.

What happens inside the body?
• Internal bleeding begins
• Brain oxygen levels drop
• Every minute of delay increases damage

Timely surgery within the Golden Hour can dramatically improve recovery outcomes.
The same treatment, given later, may not give the same results.

But what do most families do after an accident?
❌ Call relatives first
❌ Go to a small clinic
❌ Spend time deciding “which hospital”

In that confusion, 20–30 minutes are lost. The Golden Hour slips away.

What should you do instead?
Go directly to a trauma specialist hospital.

At Amrutha Hospitals, Guntur, the moment a patient arrives:
âś” Rapid assessment begins
âś” Emergency team is activated
âś” Surgery and critical care are initiated without delay

Because in trauma care — time is life.

Do you or someone at home have knee pain?
Don’t ignore it — it’s not as simple as you think.

That small discomfort while walking or climbing stairs? It could be an early warning sign.

Watch for these signs:
• Pain while climbing or coming down stairs
• Difficulty getting up after sitting
• Morning stiffness in the knee

Inside your knee, there’s a layer called cartilage — it acts like a shock absorber between your bones.

With daily wear and tear, this cartilage slowly wears out.
When it’s gone, bones start rubbing against each other — and that’s when surgery may become necessary.

But here’s the good news:
If detected early, knee pain can often be managed with:
âś” Physiotherapy
âś” Targeted exercises
âś” Proper medical treatment

— without the need for surgery.

At Amrutha Hospitals, Guntur, early diagnosis helps you stay active and pain-free for longer.

Show this to the elders at home.
Even small pain deserves medical attention.

The first 10 minutes after a shoulder dislocation can make it worse — if you do this mistake.

A shoulder dislocation happens when the shoulder bone slips out of its socket.
The pain is intense. Moving the arm becomes difficult.

But the biggest mistake people make after an accident is this:
Trying to pull it back into place, leaning against a wall, or forcing it at home.

This is extremely dangerous.

Because along with a dislocation, there could also be:
• Fractures
• Nerve injuries
• Blood vessel damage

Pulling the arm the wrong way can make the injury much worse.

What should you do instead?
âś” Keep the arm supported in the same position
âś” Use a cloth or sling to reduce movement
âś” Apply an ice pack (wrapped in cloth) to reduce swelling
âś” Go to an emergency hospital immediately

At Amrutha Hospitals, Guntur, doctors will examine, take an X-ray, and safely reposition the shoulder.

Do NOT try to fix a dislocated shoulder at home.

Share this with sports players, bike riders, and parents — this one tip can prevent serious damage.

That small painkiller for knee pain? It may be harming your kidneys. ⚠️

Painkillers might give quick relief… but the hidden risks are serious.
Regular use of NSAIDs can reduce blood flow to your kidneys and increase the risk of kidney damage over time.

It can also lead to stomach ulcers.

Pain relief is temporary — but the damage can be permanent.

Don’t self-medicate. Find the root cause and choose the right treatment.

Chest pain? You think it’s a heart attack.
But what if it’s a stroke? One wrong step can change a life forever.

Most people don’t know this:
Giving aspirin is correct for a heart attack.
But if it’s a stroke, aspirin can worsen bleeding and cause serious damage.

Trying to make a stroke patient walk? That can make the condition worse.

These small mistakes can mean the difference between recovery and permanent disability.

Stroke and heart attack symptoms are not the same — and knowing the difference can save a life.

At Amrutha Hospitals, Guntur, we believe awareness is the first step to prevention.

I’ll send you a complete checklist:
âś” Stroke symptoms
âś” Heart attack symptoms
âś” What to do
âś” What NOT to do

Follow and comment “BRAIN” or “HEART” — I’ll personally send it to you.
