Embryo grading tells us how an embryo looks and develops under the microscope—but appearance is only one part of the picture. 🔬🌱
Embryo morphology remains an important tool for assessment and selection during IVF. However, a visually “good-quality” embryo is not automatically genetically normal, and morphology alone cannot determine its chromosomal status.
Understanding this distinction can help patients approach embryo grading with more realistic expectations and informed conversations with their fertility team.
✨ Embryo appearance matters—but it doesn’t tell the whole story.
