Adult ADHD assessment is more than administering rating scales of using diagnostic tools.
It requires structured assessment, developmental history, clinical observation and—most importantly—clinical judgment.

This workshop will cover the basics of the DSM-5-TR, DIVA-5, ASRS and other relevant measures, along with clinical interviewing, developmental history, formulation and case discussions.

The focus is on how to think clinically about an ADHD presentation, rather than detailed training in each assessment tool.

Adult ADHD can be easy to miss. Inattention, procrastination and emotional difficulties can overlap with anxiety, depression and other concerns. Many adults also develop ways of masking or compensating for their difficulties.

So assessment needs to look beyond symptoms—at developmental history, patterns of functioning and what else may be contributing.

That’s what we’ll explore in our 2-day workshop on Adult ADHD in Clinical Practice.

Ekatra’s Experiential Internship Programme in Clinical & Counselling Psychology offers an opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice through structured learning, observation, and skill development.

During this internship, participants will:

✔️ Understand the role of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists
✔️ Conduct structured clinical interviews
