🤒 Viral Fever, Flu or Dengue? Don’t Ignore the Signs!

Fever, body ache, headache, weakness and fatigue can occur in many infections—but flu, viral fever and dengue can look similar in the beginning.

🌡️ Flu: Fever with cough, sore throat, runny nose and body aches.
🦟 Dengue: High fever, severe body ache, headache, pain behind the eyes, nausea or rash.
🦠 Viral fever: Fever, fatigue, body ache and other nonspecific symptoms.

💧 Stay hydrated, rest well and monitor symptoms. Avoid self-medication, especially painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen when dengue is suspected.

🚨 Persistent high fever, bleeding, severe abdominal pain, breathing difficulty, confusion or extreme weakness needs prompt medical evaluation.

Early diagnosis + appropriate care = safer recovery.

Your body has an incredible way of letting you know when something isn't right. The problem is that the signals are often easy to ignore. Persistent fatigue. Brain fog. Body aches. Poor recovery after exercise. Low energy despite getting enough sleep. Frequent infections.

These symptoms are often dismissed as stress, ageing, or simply being "too busy." But in some people, they may be linked to ongoing inflammation.

Inflammation itself is not a disease. It is your immune system's response to something it believes needs attention.

The important question is: Why is your immune system staying switched on?

Possible contributors include poor gut health, fatty liver, chronic stress, hidden infections, obesity, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, and other chronic illnesses.
Instead of simply treating the symptoms, it's important to identify and address the underlying cause.

If these symptoms have become your "new normal," don't ignore them. Your body may be asking for help.

Diabetes treatment has changed dramatically over the past few years. Today's medicines are doing much more than simply lowering blood sugar. Some newer treatments are changing the way doctors approach diabetes management, especially for people who are also living with excess weight.

In this reel, Dr Pankaj Verma explains how diabetes treatment is evolving, who may benefit from these newer options, and why medical guidance is essential before starting any medication.

Your ESR is high. Your CRP is high. But the real question is: Why is your body inflamed in the first place? Inflammation is often treated as the problem. In reality, it is usually a signal. A signal that something deeper may need attention.

Sometimes the source is your gut. Sometimes it's a fatty liver silently driving inflammation. Sometimes it's chronic stress, poor sleep, or an infection you didn't even know was there. And sometimes, conditions like obesity, diabetes, or chronic kidney disease can keep the body's inflammatory pathways switched on for years.

Inflammation may show up as:
• Fatigue
• Brain fog
• Body aches
• Poor recovery
• Low energy
• Elevated blood markers

The goal is not just to lower ESR or CRP. The goal is to understand why your immune system is sounding the alarm.

Small lifestyle changes can make a difference tomorrow.
Eat clean. Manage stress. Sleep well. Move daily. Get checked.

Feeling irritable, stressed, anxious, or low? Most people look to the brain for answers. But your gut may be part of the story. Your digestive system is home to trillions of microorganisms collectively known as the gut microbiome. These microbes do much more than help digest food. They communicate with the brain through what scientists call the gut-brain axis and help produce chemical messengers that influence mood, stress responses, and emotional wellbeing.

This is one reason why periods of stress often affect digestion, and why digestive issues can sometimes be accompanied by changes in mood and energy levels. Supporting your gut health through nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress management may benefit more than just digestion.

Watch the reel to learn more about the fascinating connection between your gut and your brain.
