So, what should you do instead?👇
• Don’t rely on biotin alone : If supplementation is needed, choose a more comprehensive hair supplement containing a combination of relevant vitamins, minerals and amino acids, e.g. Keraglo Eva, Follihair, etc.
• Get the basics checked: Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, ferritin/iron profile and thyroid (TSH). Supplement deficiencies accordingly rather than taking everything blindly.
• Choose your shampoo according to your scalp:
Dry, sensitive or itchy scalp → a gentle, sulphate free shampoo
Oily, greasy scalp → a regular sulfate shampoo is usually a better choice.
• Prioritise Protein : Hair is predominantly keratin, a protein. Make sure your daily diet has adequate protein along with a balanced intake of micronutrients.
• And most importantly, persistent or significant hair loss needs a diagnosis, not another product. See a dermatologist to identify the cause and treat it accordingly.
