A normal semen report is not guaranteed fertility. Semen analysis alone is NOT enough to call a man fertile. Similarly problems in semen may not always cause infertility.
Men deserve a full clinical evaluation, not just a lab test
Infertility is a couple's journey — not just the woman's burden.

Having a poor urine flow?
iTIND is a nitinol wire stent that can help open the bladder neck for a better flow of urine. This a temporary device that we place in the urine passage under local anesthesia. In 5 minutes you start to experience better flow and relief in urinary blockage. After a week this device is removed on OPD basis.

After an initial stint at social media and creating a family of 100k subscribers, I withdrew from it mainly because of the feeling that social media was not a credible tool to seek information. My research published 10 years back clearly showed that most information on social media was inaccurate and unreliable. Even to this day the situation remains same and has in-fact worsened. Add to this the fact that many unqualified and some qualified doctors had also started content creation, and too much of it done the wrong way has degraded the sanctity of the medical profession. Patients however haven't moved away from social media. They are still busy consuming unreliable information.
This recent lecture at ANDROCON 26 Hyderabad on Social media and its preparation reminded me that the change need to be brought rather than waiting for it to come. So hoping to restart and reach newer milestones in patient awareness in the coming years. Also moderated a session with renowned andrology experts on Male Sexual Dysfunction.

Over nearly two decades, the operating microscope has been a dear companion. It presents a new world, a new perspective and often a new challenge. Teaching microsurgery gives as much pleasure as performing one. Over 10 years it has been a privilege to teach microsurgery to urologists and andrologists through UROMET, ANDROCON, JAWS and fellowships. Our centre has been the first UROANDROMET centre to provide training to residents back in 2023. Thanks to Androcon26 for another opportunity, and hoping to bring a dedicated 3 days basic microsurgery course soon. Suggestions are welcome

The annual national conference of urologists USICON 2026 at Indore was particularly humbling. Apart form presenting the latest advanced in Andrology in PTT and VED, it gave an opportunity to share my career journey as an Andrologist with younger urologists. Taking over as the chairman of brings a deeper sense of responsibility towards the rising urologists as we plan to make a real difference to Indian urology by systems and research.

Maintaining the top position as a urologist in the millennium city consistently for more than a decade as a professional takes more than what we initially knew or thought possible. Showing for the patient first, making a reproducible system of care, constantly innovating and providing honest guidance, improving quality daily and numerous sacrifices including the patience to let go have been some of the ingredients. We are thankful to our patients for their good wishes and faith to make this possible.

Men's health is not just about the numbers; it's about the life in those numbers too. Men have their own set of issues that we as a society need to address, and these just aren't sexual or mental. These are regular common problems that I get to hear in my clinic, and they have a lot to do with the social image of a man. When men interact with healthcare, they get a judgement-free space to open up and come out of that image and introspect. My talk at TEDxMoulsari Avenue focused on how we can make men break those boundaries by introducing new checkpoints and doctors for men.

Recently concluded the youth of Urology conclave at Shillong as the organising secretary. It was a two day event with live operative surgeries and hands on trainings for younger Urologists and a teamwork with an extremely hard working YOU council.
