HDL (High-Density Lipoprotein) Ranges (mg/dL)
* Best/Optimal: 60 or higher.
* Average: 40-50 (men), 50-60 (women).
* Low/At Risk: Below 40 (men), Below 50 (women).

What High HDL Means ?
* Heart Protection: Higher levels are generally associated with a lower risk of heart attacks and stroke.
* Optimal Range: The ideal, protective range is often considered to be 60 mg/dL or higher.
* Extremely High Levels: Levels above 80 mg/dL or very high might sometimes indicate underlying issues like genetic factors, hyperthyroidism, or excessive alcohol use.

What Low HDL Means ?
* Increased Risk: Low levels are linked to a higher risk of heart disease, stroke, and artery plaque buildup.
* Potential Causes: Low HDL is often linked to lifestyle factors or conditions, such as:
* Lack of regular exercise.
* Diets high in refined carbohydrates or saturated fats.
* Smoking.
* Being overweight or obese.
* Metabolic syndrome or Type 2 diabetes.

Successful hair transplants performed under the supervision of Dr Manish Soni, our advanced hair transplant procedures are designed to deliver safe and precise results, often using 3,000+ grafts via FUE (follicular unit extraction), restoring hairlines with 95-98% graft survival rates. Modern techniques offer natural results, minimal scarring, and quick recovery, with full growth typically seen within 12–18 months.

Key Aspects of Hair Transplants:

Technique: FUE is popular for minimal downtime and no linear scars.

Process: Hair is moved from dense areas (back of the head) to thinning areas, lasting a lifetime.

Recovery: A shedding phase usually occurs within the first few weeks, with new growth appearing around 3–6 months.

Long-Term Results: Transplanted hair is often permanent, though natural aging may require touch-ups after 5–10 years.

What is a Sebaceous Cyst?
A sebaceous cyst (termed as epidermal inclusion cyst) is a harmless, slow-growing, non-cancerous lump beneath the skin filled with keratin and sebum, often forming when a sebaceous gland is damaged. While usually painless, they can become infected, inflamed, or painful. Surgical removal is the only way to fully remove the cyst and prevent recurrence, typically lasting 15–45 minutes using a local anesthetic.

Location: Occurs anywhere on the body, especially the face, neck, and torso, but never on palms or soles.

Characteristics: Slow-growing, moveable, and usually painless unless infected.

Causes: Occurs when skin cells move deeper into the skin rather than shedding, often caused by damaged glands or hair follicles.

Risks: If left untreated, they can become infected (red, painful), grow, or, in extremely rare cases, become malignant
