Why Do You Get Sugar Cravings So Often? 🍫🍪

Do you find yourself craving something sweet every evening—or feeling like you need sugar after a meal?

Frequent sugar cravings may be linked to: • Skipping meals or long gaps between meals
• Not eating enough protein
• Low-fibre meals that don’t keep you full
• Poor sleep and fatigue 😴
• Stress and emotional eating
• Too many refined carbs and ultra-processed foods

💡 The solution isn’t simply “stop eating sugar.”
Start by building balanced meals with protein + fibre + healthy fats, staying hydrated, sleeping well, and managing stress.

Your cravings are often a signal—not a lack of willpower.

5 Common Gut Health Myths You Should Stop Believing 🚫

Think you’re doing everything right for your gut? Some popular “gut health” advice may actually be misleading!

❌ Detox drinks cleanse your gut
Your liver and kidneys already do the detoxing. You don’t need a special drink to “cleanse” your gut.

❌ Bloating is always normal
Occasional bloating can happen, but frequent or persistent bloating deserves attention.

❌ Probiotics are enough
Probiotics can help, but your gut also needs fibre-rich foods, diverse plant foods, good sleep and stress management.

❌ Everyone needs a gut cleanse
There’s no routine need for a “gut cleanse.” Consistent healthy habits matter much more.

❌ All fibre is good for everyone
Fibre is important, but the type, quantity and your individual tolerance matter.

🌱 Gut health isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about consistent habits.

👉 Which of these myths have you believed? Tell me in the comments!

Does Wheat Cause Weight Gain? 🌾🤔

One of the most common weight-loss myths is:
“I stopped eating wheat, so I’ll lose weight faster.”

But here’s the fact 👇

Wheat itself does not automatically cause weight gain.

Weight gain is influenced by your overall calorie intake, portion sizes, physical activity, sleep, and lifestyle.

What can make a difference?
🍞 Large portions of roti/bread
🥐 Refined flour (maida) foods
🍪 Biscuits & bakery products
🫓 Rotis loaded with extra oil/ghee
🍽️ An overall calorie surplus

So, you don’t necessarily need to quit wheat to lose weight.

Instead, focus on: ✅ Appropriate portions
✅ Protein with every meal
✅ Plenty of vegetables
✅ Regular physical activity
✅ Overall balanced eating

Have you ever stopped eating wheat because you thought it causes weight gain?

Stop setting your weight-loss goal like this! 🚫

Your goal shouldn’t be just:
❌ “I want to lose 10 kg.”

A better goal is:
✅ Lose body fat
✅ Preserve/build muscle
✅ Improve waist circumference
✅ Get stronger & fitter
✅ Maintain the result long-term

The number on the weighing scale is only one part of the story.

When you focus on fat loss + muscle preservation, you’re working towards a healthier body composition—not just a lower number on the scale. 💪

So, set your next goal as:
“I want to lose fat and become fitter,” not just “I want to weigh less.”
