যোৱা ১০ জানুৱাৰী, ২০২৬ তাৰিখে আমাৰ অতি মৰমৰ ডে’ ছাৰ - #ডা_বিজন_বিহাৰী_ডে' দেৱে ইহলীলা সম্বৰণ কৰে। ই আছিল আমাৰ বাবে এক অত্যন্ত দুখৰ খবৰ।

ডা° ডে’ দেৱে দিছপুৰস্থিত জিএনআৰচি হস্পিটেলৰ স্নায়ুশল্য বিভাগৰ সৈতে জীৱনৰ শেষ সময়লৈকে জড়িত হৈ আছিল আৰু প্ৰায় ২৮ বছৰ কাল অটল নিষ্ঠা আৰু দায়বদ্ধতাৰে ৰোগী সেৱা আগবঢ়াইছিল। ডিব্ৰুগড়ৰ অসম চিকিৎসা মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ এমবিবিএছ আৰু এমএছ (শল্য চিকিৎসা বিভাগ) স্নাতক ডা° ডে' আছিল দক্ষতা, সহানুভূতি আৰু সদয়তাৰ জীৱন্ত প্ৰতীক। অতুলনীয় শৃংখলাবোধ আৰু ৰোগীৰ যত্নৰ প্ৰতি অগাধ আন্তৰিকতা আৰু উৎসাহৰ হেতু তেখেত আছিল সকলোৰে বাবে এক আদৰ্শ। সৰল, বিনয়ী স্বভাৱৰ বাবে সহকৰ্মীসকলৰ মাজত তেখেতে শ্ৰদ্ধা, মৰম আৰু আদৰৰ আসন লাভ কৰিছিল। এজন নিৰহংকাৰী, কোমল মনৰ ব্যক্তি হিচাপে তেখেতে দিন-ৰাতি অকল্পনীয় শক্তি আৰু ত্যাগেৰে নিঃস্বাৰ্থভাবে সেৱা আগবঢ়াই গৈছিল। নিজৰ কৰ্ম জীৱনত তেখেতে কেইবাটাও প্ৰজন্মৰ নিউৰ'চাৰ্জনৰ সৈতে কাম কৰিছিল আৰু প্ৰত্যেকৰ প্ৰতি সমান আন্তৰিকতা আৰু উৎসাহ দেখুৱাইছিল।

প্ৰায় দহ বছৰ ধৰি তেখেতক ব্যক্তিগতভাৱে জানিবলৈ মোৰ সৌভাগ্য হৈছিল। তেখেত সদায়ে এজন পিতৃসম ব্যক্তি হিচাপে মোৰ স্মৃতিত জীয়াই থাকিব। জীৱনৰ সকলো পৰিস্থিতিত তেখেতৰ ধীৰ-স্থিৰ, সংযত আৰু ইতিবাচক মনোভাৱ আমাৰ সকলোৰে বাবে আছিল অনুকৰণীয় যি আমাক সদায় অনুপ্ৰাণিত কৰি থাকিব।

তেখেতৰ আত্মাই যেন চিৰশান্তি লাভ কৰে। এই শোকৰ মুহূৰ্তত আমি তেখেতৰ পৰিয়াল বৰ্গৰ কাষত শ্ৰদ্ধা, সহানুভূতি আৰু প্ৰাৰ্থনাৰ সৈতে ঠিয় দিছো।

It's with great sadness that we remember , our very own , who left for heavenly abode on January 10th, 2026.

Dr Dey was associated with the Neurosurgery department at GNRC Dispur where he dedicated nearly 28 years of his life to serving patients with unwavering commitment and compassion. A proud graduate of Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, where he earned his MBBS and MS (Surgery) degrees, he embodied the values of excellence, empathy, and kindness. His remarkable work ethic, characterized by discipline, sincerity, and an unyielding passion for patient care, was an inspiration to all who knew him. He remained humble, kind and respectful throughout, earning the admiration and affection of his colleagues. A simple, gentle soul, he worked tirelessly, day and night, with a energy and dedication that was nothing short of remarkable. His association with the department spanned generations of neurosurgeons, with whom he worked with equal sincerity and enthusiasm.

I had the privilege of knowing him for nearly a decade, and he will always be remembered as a fatherly figure, whose calm and composed demeanor in the face of life's challenges is a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire us all.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of grief.
