Today is World Breastfeeding Protection Day. It was on this day in 1981 that Law for International Code of marketting of breast milk substitute was passed
Let us all promote , Protect & support breastfeeding. India passed the law in 1992. & revised in 2003. Let us initiate within 1 hr, exclusive for 6 mnths & continue for 2 yrs & beyond with home made complementary food from 6 months onwards( 1-6-2).
