We have always wanted my grandma to listen to everything we speak to her. But after so many failed attempts to try to get her a better Hearing Aid to augment her disabled hearing, we were very worried of her eventually loosing all her remaining audibility which couldn't even be helped with an external aid. We have tried to get her checked in many possible clinics to get her a better treatment and a better aid for her. But we couldn't. All we got to hear was that her ability to hear has deteriorated to the maximum level and that even the regular tuning of the hearing aid wouldn't help her. We struggled a lot. We have invested 10s of thousands of rupees sometimes even near to lakhs to get her a better aid.
But then one day I get to witness this new hearing aid centre that has just opened in Marvel Signet, while I was passing by the road of Shirur Park. So I enquired about it and just hoped that it wouldn't turn out to be the same as we witnessed earlier.
Looking at some reviews online and some pictures and especially the qualifications of the doctor, I thought we should give this centre a shot.
We were a bit worried in the begining looking at the decent set-up of the Centre and the welcoming behaviour that they would charge us a lifetime.
When we interacted with the doctor and the personnel's there, our perspective changed completely. We were totally overwhelmed by it.
I was so happy to see the transparency and the way with the which everyone interacted with my grandma.
Dr. Vikrant Patil was so so humble and made the concepts of the hearing aid really clear to us which none of our previous centres provided.
He gave us the true picture of the scene. Gave us many options for us to chose based on our situation. I was so happy with the first impression. But waited for the new hearing aids to arrive and the experience of my grandma with them.
She turned out to be the best patient of Dr. Vikrant Patil in the way she responded to the machine and in the way the machine helped her in hearing way better than us and the doctor himself expected.
We have been visiting the centre regularly for the regular check-up. The tone and the manner of their behaviour hasn't even changed an ounce and that's really surprising.
We have even recommended some of our friends to visit this centre.
Eventually I would like to say that,
We really love the hospital and the hospitality.
