🚭 UNMASK THE APPEAL. CHOOSE LIFE. A PERSONAL APPEAL🚭

As a cancer surgeon, I have sat across hundreds of patients and families whose lives changed forever because of to***co. Many never imagined it would happen to them.

🚬 To***co does not announce itself as cancer. It comes disguised as stress relief, a social habit, a moment of relaxation, or “just one cigarette.”

⚠️ The reality is very different.

Behind every cigarette lies a higher risk of:

🎗️ Cancer

❤️ Heart disease

🧠 Stroke

🫁 Lung damage

⏳ Years lost with the people who matter most

This World No To***co Day, I request you to pause for a moment and make a choice:

✅ Choose to breathe easier.

✅ Choose to live longer.

✅ Choose to protect your family.

✅ Choose health over habit.

✅ Choose life over to***co.

If you smoke, please consider taking the first step towards quitting today.

If you have already quit, help someone else begin their journey.🤝

One decision today can change the rest of your life.🌱

Quit Smoking. It’s Never Too Late.🚭

Not every symptom should be brushed off as “normal.” 🎗️
Persistent bloating, pelvic discomfort, unexplained fatigue, or changes in your body could sometimes be signs that deserve medical attention.

Ovarian Cancer is often called a “silent disease” because the symptoms can appear mild in the beginning, making awareness and early detection extremely important.
The more we talk about it, the more lives we can protect. 💙

Beautifully written… how life slowly pulls people in different directions.

Between work, responsibilities, distance, and “let’s catch up soon,” we often lose touch with the people who once knew us best — often without any real goodbye.

But perhaps that’s also the beauty of some friendships…
No matter how much time passes, when you finally reconnect, it feels like you were never truly apart.

A gentle reminder that while some friendships fade softly, some quietly wait for the right moment to bloom again. 💛

A few weeks ago, a friend called me at 01:40 AM. Not texted. Called. For a brief second, my body prepared itself for bad news. Adulthood has conditioned most of us to believe that late-night...

10 everyday factors that can increase cancer risk — and the evidence is real.

Not fear. Not myths. Just science.

From to***co, alcohol, obesity, processed foods, low physical activity, infections, pollution, excess sun exposure, poor sleep, and family history/genetics — cancer risk often builds silently over years.

Many of these risks are modifiable.

Small daily choices like quitting to***co, limiting alcohol, maintaining healthy weight, eating more fiber, staying active, vaccinating against HPV/Hepatitis B, and regular screening can make a big difference.

Cancer prevention starts before symptoms begin.

🎗️ Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent cancer” — because early symptoms can be subtle, vague, and easy to ignore.

⚠️ Watch out for:
• Persistent bloating
• Feeling full quickly while eating
• Pelvic or abdominal pain
• Frequent urination
• Unexplained tiredness or weight changes

If these symptoms continue for more than 2–3 weeks, don’t ignore them.

👩‍⚕️ Early detection can make a significant difference in treatment outcomes. Regular health checkups, awareness of family history, and timely evaluation are important.

There is no need to panic with every symptom — but there is a need to stay aware.

🎗️ This World Ovarian Cancer Day, let’s spread awareness, encourage conversations, and support women to seek help early.

☕ Wait 4–5 minutes before drinking your tea or coffee!! 🚀

We all love hot beverages…
But repeatedly drinking them too hot may damage the lining of the food pipe over time.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC/WHO) has reported that drinking beverages hotter than 65°C may increase the risk of food pipe cancer.

A simple habit — letting your coffee cool for even 4 minutes — could help reduce repeated heat injury to your throat and esophagus.

Sip warm… not scalding. ☕

“Wait… how are you gaining weight when you’re barely eating?” 🤔

Sounds confusing, right?
Because your body doesn’t always follow simple math.

Sometimes, it’s not about how much you eat…
It’s about what your body is doing behind the scenes 👇

And that’s where most people miss the real problem.

🎥 This video might change the way you look at weight gain.
Watch it… you may finally understand what’s really going on.

📌 Watch till the end
📲 Save it for later
💬 Share it with someone who keeps saying,
“I don’t eat much… then why am I gaining weight?”

Now let me show you the other side…

Yesterday, she was waiting.
Today, it’s me.

She’s in the OT.
Focused. Strong.
Giving hope where it was once fading…
Helping couples believe again. ❤️

And I’m here…
Checking my phone.
Refreshing the screen.
Pretending I’m not waiting… but definitely waiting. 😅

Funny how love works in our profession.
One day you’re the surgeon.
The next day you’re the one staring at the ‘last seen.’

Sometimes romance isn’t roses and long drives.
Sometimes it’s a simple message — “Procedure done.”

In medicine… we don’t just treat patients…
We bring back hope… even if it means sacrificing our own time together. ❤️

And honestly… I’ll always be proud to wait for my woman who helps others find their spark again. ✨
