Children are living miracles …
their every little action ,
every small expression ,
So true to the core
So full of excitement

No wonder they are our only hope for a better tomorrow

Every moment spent with them comes alive with unexpected revelations and deep insights about life
whoever said their attention spans are brief …??

Who said they are hooked to their mobiles and not aware of their surroundings ??

or that they can’t receive new ideas and open to challenges about life style changes and actively inculcate them into their daily life ??

Talking to them on health awareness was a real pleasure
One of them even could define HEALTH verbatim

I took a small pause from posting here… and in that silence, one thing became even clearer to me —

This work matters.

Every message, every question, every story I’ve heard about difficult pregnancies and unexpected complications reminds me why Cpaap India exists.

So today, I’m starting again. Not perfectly, but purposefully.

If even one woman pauses, learns, and makes a more informed decision because of this page — it is worth it.

Placenta Praevia

A condition where placenta ( the after birth ) comes to lie before the fetal presenting part in the lower uterine segment ( usually it’s the head in a cephaloc lie , but placenta Praevia can predispose to non - cephalic presentations too )

Less than 2 cm from the internal cervical os

Sometimes , partially or completely covering the internal cervical os , when it is termed as Complete Placenta Praevia

Which is really a dangerous condition !!

Why because…

As the cervix dilates during labour , the placenta over lying the internal os gets separated before the expulsion of the baby
and starts to bleed 🩸
Often , it can lead to life threatening haemorrhage and hypovolaemic shock .

Call for action :::

Since this condition needs early diagnosis …

* Never miss any antenatal appointments
* A minimum of 3 Ultrasound scans to localise the Placenta /
as advised by your consultant Obstetrician
* Always Know your Blood group & type / keep your recommended antenatal profile handy

* Do not neglect any bleeding during pregnancy

* Plan your delvery around 35-36 weeks
In a well equipped tertiary center where experienced medical professionals , 24/7 blood bank and ICU services are available .

* Avoid unwanted pregnancies .
* Use appropriate , effective method of contraceptive .
* Encourage blood donation

I think all of us need to migrate to South Korea 😃

In South Korea, the government offers strong support to pregnant women to ease financial and practical burdens. Through the National Happiness Card, they receive about $850 USD for prenatal care, covering checkups, ultrasounds, and other medical needs. In Seoul, expectant mothers also get transportation subsidies of around $600 USD to help with travel to hospitals and clinics. These measures aim to support healthier pregnancies while also addressing the country’s low fertility rate.

Ultrasound and Microbubbles: A New Hope Against Cancer 🎯🦠

Researchers at Tel Aviv University, led by Dr. Tali Ilovitsh, have pioneered a promising cancer treatment that combines ultrasound with microbubbles. These gas-filled bubbles, coated with tumor-targeting agents, are injected into the bloodstream and directed toward cancer cells.

When exposed to low-frequency ultrasound (around 250 kHz), the microbubbles rapidly expand and collapse, a process called cavitation, which destroyed up to 80% of tumor cells in mice. For surviving cells, the ultrasound opened temporary pores, enabling delivery of genetic material that activated the immune system to attack the rest.

Still in preclinical stages, this technique has not yet reached human trials, but it offers a minimally invasive, highly targeted approach with enormous future potential.

Don’t be tempted to pour or store cleaning products in different containers. This can confuse adults and children too. Especially if it’s in container they recognise, like a water bottle.
