🤰✨ When should you announce your pregnancy?

There’s no single “right” time — it’s a personal choice. ❤️

🌸 Many couples choose to wait until around 12–13 weeks, when the risk of early pregnancy loss has decreased and the first-trimester screening/scan may be completed.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Tell your trusted support system earlier if you’d want their emotional or practical support during the first trimester.

📢 Announce when YOU feel ready — whether that’s early, after the first scan, after the first trimester, or later.

Your pregnancy. Your timeline. Your choice. 💕

✨ Save this reel & share it with an expecting mom!

A**l fissures are a relatively common condition characterized by small tears in the mucosa that lines the a**s, often presenting as acute discomfort and noticeable bleeding during and after bowel movements. Conditions that affect regular bowel habits, such as persistent constipation or the occurrence of diarrhea, can also contribute to their development. The primary symptoms associated with a**l fissures include a significant pain during defecation, often described as passing glass, and the presence of bright red blood on toilet tissue or in the toilet bowl. Patients may also experience itching or irritation around the a**s, a visible crack in the skin near the a**l opening, discomfort while sitting, and occasionally a lump or skin tag on the outer edges of the fissure, known as a sentinel pile. Diagnosing an a**l fissure typically involves a careful digital re**al examination and a thorough visual inspection. Treatment includes the use of topical ointments and laxatives to ease bowel movements. Advising lifestyle changes, particularly regarding diet, such as increased fiber intake and hydration, is also crucial for effective management and prevention of recurrence. In cases where nonsurgical treatments do not resolve the fissure, or if it becomes chronic, surgical options may be considered. These may involve procedures to cut a portion of the a**l sphincter muscle (lateral internal sphincterotomy) to reduce spasms and pain and promote healing.

🍼 MYTHS vs FACTS About Breastfeeding 🤱

✨ MYTH 1: Small breasts produce less milk.
✅ FACT: Breast size does not determine milk production. Milk supply depends on effective milk removal and hormonal stimulation.

✨ MYTH 2: Breastfeeding should always be painful.
✅ FACT: Mild discomfort may occur initially, but persistent pain usually indicates a latch or positioning problem that needs attention.

✨ MYTH 3: Mothers should stop breastfeeding if they have a cold or fever.
✅ FACT: In most common illnesses, breastfeeding should continue. Breast milk provides protective antibodies that help safeguard your baby.

✨ MYTH 4: Formula is just as good as breast milk.
✅ FACT: Breast milk is uniquely designed for your baby, providing optimal nutrition, immune protection, and promoting healthy growth and development.

✨ MYTH 5: Mothers don’t produce enough milk.
✅ FACT: Most mothers produce enough milk. Frequent feeding, a good latch, and avoiding unnecessary formula supplementation help maintain an adequate supply.

✨ MYTH 6: Babies need water in addition to breast milk.
✅ FACT: Babies under 6 months who are exclusively breastfed do not need extra water—even in hot weather.

💛 Remember: Every breastfeeding journey is unique. Seek support from a lactation consultant or your healthcare provider whenever needed.
