With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I accepted the Padma Shri Civilian Award from the President of India. This honor is not mine alone , it belongs to every patient who trusted me, every trainee I’ve learned from, every colleague who stood shoulder to shoulder in long nights and tough decisions, every member of AIG family and my family whose love and sacrifice made this possible.Each life touched, each learning moment in the operating room and at the bedside, has shaped who I am far more than any title ever could. This award is a reminder that the work matters , not for recognition, but for the lives we are privileged to care for.
I dedicate this award to my mentors, my team, AIG family and to the patients who teach me patience, courage, and compassion every day. I am inspired to continue serving with humility, to mentor the next generation with generosity, and to keep pushing for better care for all.
Dincere thanks to the Government of India and to everyone who believed in me and will keep serving and striving for those in need .

ASPIRE 2026 at AIG Hospitals was a truly special experience. Engaging with Class 11 and 12 students is always unique — their curiosity is genuine, their warmth is touching, and their enthusiasm is deeply inspiring. At times, it was even moving enough to bring a tear to my eye.
Happy to see that these young Gen Z minds stepped beyond textbooks and experienced the world of healthcare up close , through insightful sessions, meaningful interactions with experts, and real exposure to clinical environments, healthcare technology, and hospital operations.
At AIG Hospitals, we believe that nurturing curiosity and creating opportunities for students to learn, ask questions, and dream big is deeply rewarding.

Infected pancreatic necrosis is among the most severe surgical illnesses.While minimally invasive approaches dominate modern care, open surgical necrosectomy still remains lifesaving for selected critically ill patients especially after failed Minimally Invasive Procedures.Our QUIP study showed that
survivors can achieve good long-term physical, emotional, and social quality of life after open necrosectomy.
Sometimes the ‘last option’ still restores life beyond survival.”
