Apollo Research and Innovations (ARI) marked the celebration of International Clinical Trials Day 2026 on 23rd May with an inspiring virtual gathering that brought together clinical research professionals and students to honor the spirit of innovation in clinical research. The event was a vibrant blend of expert talks, engaging contests, informative skits, and cultural performances, making learning both insightful and enjoyable.

Dr. Seerapani Gopaluni, Consultant Nephrologist & Transplant Physician,
Apollo Hospitals, highlighted the evolution of clinical trials from observational research to data-driven science, emphasizing a future shaped by AI, genomics, big data, decentralization, and patient-centric approaches.

Dr. Manoj Karwa, Head – Clinical Trials & Pharmacovigilance,
Auriga Research Private Limited, provided an overview of NDCT regulations for medical device and cell & gene therapy studies, highlighting regulatory pathways, clinical requirements, and emerging trends shaping these advanced therapies.
