Teenage: A New Birth 🚀
Has your sweet child suddenly become rebellious, emotionally distant, or unusually sensitive? 🤔
One day they are cheerful and affectionate. The next day they lock their doors, avoid conversations, and react strongly to small things. 🚪
This is not simply “bad behavior.”
It is a major psychological transformation. 🧠
Psychologist G. Stanley Hall described adolescence with a powerful statement:
“Adolescence is a new birth.” 🌱
According to Hall, adolescence is a period of “storm and stress” where teenagers go through deep emotional, biological, and identity changes. ⚡
During this phase, teenagers may become:
🔹 Highly sensitive
🔹 Reckless and thrill-seeking
🔹 Extremely self-conscious
🔹 Emotionally vulnerable or depressed
What looks like attitude from the outside is often confusion, emotional overload, and an unfinished brain trying to rebuild itself. 🧩
But this chaos is not permanent. 🌅
Slowly, teenagers begin evolving from instinct-driven children into more mature, thoughtful, and socially aware adults. 🦅
That is why adolescence is not just a phase.
It is a psychological rebirth. ✨
As parents, teachers, and mentors, our role is not to control teenagers through fear or punishment.
Our role is to become safe bridges between childhood and adulthood. 🌉
Sometimes, what a teenager needs most is not advice.
It is understanding. ❤️
