The healthiest choice on the menu isn’t always the best choice for fat loss.

One of my coaching clients messaged me from a restaurant asking:

“What should I order?”

I already knew she was about to choose the salad.

And I told her:

“Don’t order the salad.”

Not because salads are unhealthy.

But because she believed it was the only option if she wanted to lose fat.

Instead, we chose a meal she genuinely wanted to eat—one that still aligned with her goal.

That’s what coaching should do.

Not make you afraid of food.

Teach you how to make better decisions in real-life situations, whether you’re eating at home, at work, or at a restaurant.

A healthy breakfast isn’t about copying recipes from Instagram.

It’s about understanding how to build a balanced plate that keeps you satisfied, supports your energy, and helps you meet your nutrition goals.

Using the MyPlate method, every breakfast becomes simple:

Start with a protein source
Add whole grains for energy
Include colourful fruits or vegetables
Add dairy (if suitable)
Finish with healthy fats in moderation

When you learn the formula, you don’t need meal plans for every day—you can build balanced breakfasts at home, at work, while travelling, or even when eating out.

Small, consistent choices made every morning can improve satiety, protein intake, diet quality, and long-term health.

As a Fat Loss & Performance Coach, this is exactly the kind of lunch I’d recommend.

Simple meals are easier to stay consistent with, and consistency is what gets results.

Ingredients (1 serving)

150 g raw chicken breast (marinated with your favourite spices)
60 g raw rice
120 g potato, diced
80 g carrot, diced
1 tsp olive oil
Salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder and mixed herbs
Water (to cook the rice)
Cucumber, tomato and onion salad
100 g curd

Method

Add the rice, potatoes and carrots to a baking dish. Season, drizzle with olive oil and mix well. Pour in enough water to cook the rice, then place the marinated chicken on top. Bake until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender. Serve with a fresh salad and a bowl of curd.

If you have PCOS, you don’t have to fear carbs. 💚

One simple strategy is to avoid eating carbohydrate-rich foods on their own. Pairing them with a protein source can help create a more satisfying meal or snack and may support steadier blood sugar levels.

Simple examples:
🥣 Banana + Greek yogurt
🍎 Apple + Paneer
🍞 Toast + Eggs
🌽 Sweet corn + Tofu

Remember, this doesn’t mean carbs are “bad.” Carbohydrates are an important source of energy. The goal is to build smarter food pairings rather than cutting foods out completely.

💬 Comment your favourite carb below, and I’ll suggest a protein to pair it with!

You don’t keep fat off by suffering more.

You keep it off by building habits that still work when life gets busy.

The people who achieve long-term fat loss aren’t the ones eating the least or training the hardest. They’re the ones who can stick to their routine on busy Mondays, weekends, holidays, and stressful weeks.

That’s the difference between losing weight and staying lean.

If your fat-loss plan only works when life is perfect, it isn’t built for real life.

The best nutrition plan is one you can follow consistently—not one you can’t wait to finish.

📩 DM “FAT LOSS” if you’re ready to stop starting over and build a personalised nutrition plan that helps you lose fat while enjoying your favourite foods.
