Strengthening Patient Safety Through Awareness & Action.

BABINA Hospital conducted a Patient Safety Awareness Session on Incident Reporting and Hand-off (Handover) Practices on September 17, 2026, at the Training Hall.

The session was led by Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Brogen Singh, Department of Community Medicine, RIMS, with facilitation by the Medical Superintendent.
The interactive session focused on strengthening staff awareness of incident reporting, effective communication during handovers and the shared responsibility of every healthcare professional in ensuring patient safety.

The session brought together RMOs, nursing staff, technicians, healthcare assistants, security staff, HODs and team leaders, reinforcing the importance of teamwork and clear communication in delivering safer patient care.
