A glimpse of our World Stroke Day 2026 celebration at Imphal Heart Institute!

The day was marked by a Free Health Camp featuring OPD consultations, ECG, health check-ups and stroke risk screening, encouraging people to take proactive steps towards better brain and heart health.

The celebration continued with expert-led awareness talks on Neurology, Dietetics and Physiotherapy, followed by an interactive Q&A session where participants gained valuable insights into stroke prevention, early recognition and recovery.

A stroke can happen suddenly, and recognising the warning signs can save a life.

Remember F.A.S.T. to identify the signs of a stroke:
🔴 F – Face: One side of the face droops.
🔴 A – Arms: Weakness or difficulty raising one arm.
🔴 S – Speech: Slurred or difficult speech.
🔴 T – Time: Call emergency services immediately.

Every second matters. If you notice any of these symptoms, seek emergency medical attention without delay.
